About us
Our company began as a dream.
Acquiring our first bus in 2000 as a passion, it was restored, made safe and Old London Bus Ltd was born.
As demand grew so did our team and fleet, to preserve old London buses in service as moving history for hire.
The directors were determined that the best possible way to do this was to maintain the interior of their buses as original as possible, but clean and comfortable.
But a smart outward appearance was necessary, within historical boundaries, to make them easily identifiable in films, photographs and on large screen or television.
This has been maintained and as you read this the very oldest bus is being restored to original condition and when completed will be returned to public service.
The RT type is over 80 years old and to have any motorised vehicle continue the original intention of design, is quite a magnificent achievement by anyone’s standards.
Enjoy our “moving history” by hiring one of our fleet…
